Overview
A specialist, work-related programme that gives depth of knowledge and understanding in key areas of business. Learners study Level 4 and Level 5 units — 120 credits per year, 240 in total — equivalent to the first two years of an honours degree.
Level 4 units introduce contemporary business topics: academic and research skills, business and global operations, finance and accounting, communication, leadership and team working. Level 5 units apply those skills in strategy, human resources, marketing, business law, management accounting and starting a new business.

Entry requirements
- Typically aged 18 or over
- A relevant Level 3 Diploma or equivalent, OR GCE Advanced level in 2 subjects or equivalent, OR mature learners (over 21) with relevant management experience
- Evidence of English language competency if not from a majority English-speaking country
Structure & assessment
12 mandatory units, 240 credits, 2,400 hours Total Qualification Time and a recommended minimum of 1,200 Guided Learning Hours.
All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. To pass a unit you provide evidence that you have met every learning outcome and assessment criterion.
Progression
Progress to the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Business Management, or — because the qualification is regulated by Ofqual — direct entry into Year 3 of a three-year UK bachelor's degree.

OTHM qualifications are regulated in the UK by Ofqual. They are listed and delivered through eie European Business School but are not eie homegrown MFHEA degrees and not Aspire degrees.
Equivalence
RQF Level 5 · 240 UK credits. Level 4 and 5 together are equivalent to the first two years of a UK bachelor’s degree.
