MFHEA

Licence No. 2005-TC-001

eie is licensed by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority as a Higher Education Institution, delivering programmes from MQF / EQF Level 5 to Level 7.

Accreditation is how the MFHEA verifies that a programme meets minimum academic and vocational standards. The decisive stage is mapping the programme to the Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF) and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) — so the level can be read across Europe. More detail is on mfhea.mt.

The institution was known as eie Institute of Education until 27 December 2023. The licence number did not change when the name did.

Your check

Recognition by an employer or another university is always their decision — the MQF / EQF framework makes the comparison possible. Always confirm the current licence and programme list with eie or the MFHEA before you pay any fee.
